Corporate applicants- applying for accreditation
Applications can be accepted for corporate bodies from 3 November 2008. To be accredited, corporate bodies must: - have at least one director who is an accredited certifier,
- employ at least two other accredited certifiers (who may also be directors),
- provide evidence of the company's professional indemnity insurance,
- demonstrate the directors and persons concerned in the management of the body corporate are fit and proper persons, and

Information on the accreditation requirements is set out in Info Sheet 12. To apply for accreditation, a body corporate needs to complete and lodge an Application for accreditation - bodies corporate Form 8 (pdf). The application form asks the body corporate applicant to have each person who is a director or person concerned in the management of the body corporate (who is not an already accredited certifier) to complete and attach a Fit and proper person declaration - bodies corporate Form 9 (pdf).
