Accessible Web Design
This site has been developed to ensure content is available to the widest possible audience, including readers using assistive technology or accessibility features. By adhering to guidelines for accessible web design, we acknowledge the diversity of communication methods, available technologies and abilities of web-users in the community.
The website aims to conform to W3C's Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG). The public pages on this site meet the criteria for Priority 2 compliance with WCAG guidelines.
This site meets all the coding criteria for compliance with W3C standards.
Converting PDF files
The Adobe website provides an online conversion tool to convert Adobe PDF files to plain text or HTML files.
Alternatively, PDF files can be submitted as a MIME attachment to an email message:
- to convert a PDF to plain text, email the attached PDF to email@example.com
- to convert a PDF to HTML, email the attached PDF to firstname.lastname@example.org.
If you are browsing the website with a screen reader and find information in PDF format that you cannot access please contact the Board.
Changing text size
Click on the 'A' icon near the page heading (at the top right of the screen, next to the print icon).
Alternatively, in Internet Explorer go to View > Text size and select. In Mozilla Firefox go to View > Zoom and select.
